Ladner Elders

Ladner started as a fishing village on the banks of the Fraser River with plentiful farm land.  One of the things that make Ladner such a wonderful place to live is the people who call this Vancouver suburb their home.  Some have been here for generations and some are the first of their family to reside here, but have been here for many years. The goal of this project was to highlight some of those long standing Ladner residents and their memories of our town many years ago.  Participants had to be over the age of 75 and lived in Ladner for at least 50 years.  The portraits are done by Sharon Wright and the interviews are written by Anne Sanders (both Ladner residents).

The series was on display at the Ladner Library for the month of April 2017
